Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

Due to the extremely inclement weather, I will not be going home for Thanksgiving today. I am pretty sad about it, but I really feel it is better than getting stuck someplace in the snow.

Jeff should be coming home today because of low census, but he will be on call the rest of the day. I am watching the Macy's Thanksgiving day Parade on CBS, which is kind of nice because if I was driving home I would have missed most of it. And I love a parade. Especially one I'm not marching in.

I'm also playing some Catan Online. I lost the last game, but it wasn't a drubbing. It came down to development cards, and the winner got to Largest Army the turn before I could have taken it, and he had a victory point.

I might blog more later, for now I need to focus on Winning.

Will I have that before Thanksgiving?

No, no you won't. I guess you're going to have to have pie after your turkey like everyone else, instead of half a pack of Newports, you stupid smoker!

Ah, customer service. It makes me want to jab pointy things into my temples somedays.

Just doing a little window shopping on Amazon. My mom has called me twice since she went to Hershey for sizes on things. I'm starting to get a little excited for Christmas. I saw someone putting out there Christmas lights on my way home, and I actually didn't think, "No! Too early! Put that away!" I just figured they were doing it now since they are calling for snow at the end of the week, the time I know when a lot of people traditionally start their Christmas decorating. I'm looking forward to doing some Christmas shopping in Ellicottville, they have so many funky things there. I always feel like giving people gift certificates is giving up on trying to be original, even though most people are really happy to get a gift certificate, especially for a store they like and shop at a lot. I always feel like it's cheating though, especially when it comes time to wrap presents. Where's the challenge in wrapping a gift certificate? I also used to get books for people a lot, but I know realistically, that many of my friends really don't have time to read anymore. Although all Jeff and I got each other last year was books, and I wouldn't mind that trend continuing.

I'm going to wrap this here so I can pop in the pizza for dinner. We have Mage tonight, I think Vita is trying to wrap this Dark Ages game before the end of the semester. Also I should put on some make-up since I'm going to see my girlfriend

There are more....

You are

Cheese Pizza

Traditional and comforting.
You focus on living a quality life.
You're not easily impressed with novelty.
Yet, you easily impress others.

I have to disagree with this one, I am not a depressed drunk at all.

You're a Depressed Drunk

You know that distinct taste of tears and vodka real well.

See, now this one is true.

Your Inner Child Is Surprised

You see many things through the eyes of a child.
Meaning, you're rarely cynical or jaded.
You cherish all of the details in life.
Easily fascinated, you enjoy experiencing new things.

The Movie Of Your Life Is A Cult Classic

Quirky, offbeat, and even a little campy - your life appeals to a select few.
But if someone's obsessed with you, look out! Your fans are downright freaky.

Your best movie matches: Office Space, Showgirls, The Big Lebowski

Okay, I'm done with this here. As for blogging today, I had a very nice lunch at Pizza Hut with Jamie and Savannah. We talked about books and movies and things. I love talking with my smart friends. It makes up for the dumbasses I talk to on the phone at work all week. Then I came home, finished up some laundry and played a little Catan Online. (Won the first, game lost the second) Then I went to the pool and swam with Jamie and Adam for awhile. I emailed Allison back from the pool. Thanks for getting back to me so quick, notice my new links!

Then I ordered Chinese (sweet and sour chicken) for dinner and picked it up at the Great Wall. All in all, a satisfying Sunday.
