I like to walk!

I just got back from a long walk. I walked up to the trail that winds along the mighty Tunungwat (sp?) creek (the mighty Tuna for you UPB students and grads) to where it meets Blaisdell Hall. I walked straight from blaisdell to the parking lot over by the basketball hoops, and wrote in my notebook and communed with nature for about an hour. I probably would have stayed a little longer, but my pen ran out of ink. Then I walked home, coming straight down Campus Dr, trying to take the shortest route possible home. It still took about 25 minutes to get home. But I love seeing all the different wildflowers, and the flowers they've planted along the trail and on campus. I like seeing the different people on the trail. There was a woman on a bike pulling her son in a little trailer behind her, and he waved to me and said hello. I also saw an older woman getting onto the trail when I was on my way home. She had a bicycle with a basket, and the basket looked just like the one of my first bike. It had plastic flowers on it. I like the satisfied, sweaty feeling I have right now. I even like the blisters forming on my feet.

Plans for the evening, make dinner, we're doing porkchops on the grill with my specialty, mac and cheese, on the side. Got to get working now, those chops need to marinate for a little while.

More later, perhaps. Merry Part and Blessed Be!
