The Spirit of Jazz

I am waiting for a load of laundry to dry and listening to the jazz station on Mom and Dad's digital cable. I think I need some jazz CDs, they would be awesome to listen to while writing.

I got the new loan for the Toyota today, Northwest is sending out the check to Toyota today. After that, only a few steps left in this dance.

Plans tonight: go home, hopefully play some WoW. Maybe work on some writing. I've got a few old pieces I might pull out and try to finish and polish up.

Plans tomorrow: Blissfully nothing so far. It's great running and seeing everyone, but it's also exhausting!

Crashing...

From an excellent "weekend." I worked Saturday and Sunday and then went out to Edinboro. I got to see Wendy and Grant on Tuesday when I took Al and Austin down to Pittsburgh for their big appointment to get Austin his conditional permanent status in the states. We went to the Pittsburgh Zoo after and Wendy and Grant met us there. I really enjoyed seeing the Siberian Tigers, and the PPG Aquarium is great too. (I saw Nemo!)

Then on Wednesday, we went to CEDAR POINT! I have only been to Cedar Point once, and it was after my sophomore prom. The weather was miserable and rainy, and most of the coasters weren't running. The weather yesterday was perfect. I rode 6 coasters, including Top Thrill Dragster I also rode Maverick, Raptor, Iron Dragon and Disaster Transport.

All the coasters were amazing, and I had a great time with Allison, Austin, Jon and Tom. Jon and Tom kept me entertained in long coaster lines with plenty of singing.

We also rode this:

Which is called Maxair and was very fun. You can actually see me on the ride (Thanks, Al!) my hair is over my face. To my right with the t-shirt on his head is Jon. (He was trying to avoid sunburn)
